The Sauder Shoal Creek Twin Mate's Bed carton dimensions are 84.374 x 19.874 x 4.126.

The box was about 6 feet long, and it was VERY heavy. It was only a few inches tall and about two and a half feet wide or so, the main issue is the awkward, long, thin shape and heavy weight.

Box is pretty long , probably about 85 inches long. Bring a pick up or an SUV with fold downs. Its pretty heavy, maybe 150-160 lbs. Two of us carried it in but a third to hold the center might have been better.

its all pretty cheaply made, only outside of wood was finished, all pressed wood, not very sturdy looking. We ended up returning ours.

Very surprised as to the quality of the bed. Very easy to put together, even for only one person. I put together two beds by myself. Drawer space was a little smaller than I thought, but you can remove the drawers and store things behind them that you may not use much and then replace the drawers. I would highly recommend it to anyone needing extra storage space. Very well made!

Very well made and easy to assemble!

Ordered this bed for my 7yr old. His room is too small for a dresser. The color if the wood is really nice, it looks good with darker and lighter wood furniture in his room. I found the drawers to hold a lot of clothes and still leave room for him to hide is own things in.

Great product

Frame is very heavy, make sure you know where it is going to be placed as it is hard to push/move around without messing your floor.

Weight

This is a very solid bed, easy to put together (less than an hour by myself with a ratcheting screwdriver and a hammer), and looks good. It can be rotated so that the drawers can face the left or the rigth. The hardware is handsome.

The drawers are not as deep as the bed. They are about half the width of the bed. It would be nice to have full-depth ones, but that's no big deal.

It's heavy -- about 150 lbs -- so be ready to have some help moving the package.

Great bed with storage

Great bed for a room with limited space. We bought two to replace bunk beds. Beds were super fast to put together and made very well for the price. My son liked the divided drawers, and they hold quite a bit.

Great bed for kids rooms!

This is an excellent bed if you're trying to save space. I've bought two, this is my second one. The first lasted well over a year and is still in use, the second one was purchased as a gift. The drawers under the bed are great, this model allows you to assemble the drawers on either side. The drawers also came with a divider, so each drawer has two compartments in it. Fits a standard twin-size mattress and is used by an adult. You do not need a boxspring.
I will say that these beds seem to be designed for people under 200lbs, if you are over that I would suggest reinforcing the rims that the mattress supports rest on. The bed WILL hold a heavier person, but the rims are just strips of wood that the support boards rest on, and eventually the stress will damage them. The only other precaution I would mention is this is not a bed that takes heavy abuse. If you have kids jumping on it, prepare to eventually do some repairs (probably to the rims I just mentioned). If you take care of it, the bed should last a long time.
I like the wood design, it is very elegant and makes the bed look more like furniture and less like a frame supporting a mattress (which is why I didn't buy a metal frame daybed). It also is more firm, since the wood rests on the floor all the way around and is heavier, the bed isn't going to slide around or be easily moved by children. The drawers hide linens, clothes, toys, whatever you want, and help keep the room tidy. For the price, I could not find a nicer bed.
Assembly time is reasonable, set aside about an hour or two. Everything is labeled and easy to understand, you will need to provide your own screwdriver and a small hammer.

Great bed, space saver, second purchase

Assembly was not difficult. Great idea to have the storage drawers under the bed. For smaller or shared bedrooms, this is a space saver and great way for a struggling family to get started. If one shops around, a decent mattress can be found for around $100, but going too cheap will not pay off in the long run, so choose wisely.

It's heavy and big ....make sure that you have a big car or a truck if anyone is picking this up at the store!! Otherwise shipping is very expensive ;)

Bed was built better than I thought it would be even in pressboard laminated wood. Xtra suports in bed frame and drawers made a huge difference.

Downfall was it arrived in perfect condition in the box but once opened one of the frame rails was broken and a small chip was seen on the front of the drawer. Nothing that cannot be touched up but obviously not caused by shipping as the box was scratch free.
